The eighty-two ton space craft whcih was launched May 14th, 1973, reentered the Earth's atmosphere on July 11th, 1979. Expectation was that 20-25 tons probably would survive to hit Earth. Calculated chance that any one person be hit by a falling piece was 1 in 152. Skylab fell over the Indian Ocean with no casualties!
